A space to explore what's underneath the patterns you've learned to carry.
Â
Therapy doesn't have to be about fixing yourself. Sometimes it's about slowing down enough to notice what's happening beneath the surface, understanding how you've learned to navigate the world, and creating space for something different.
I work with adults navigating complex trauma, relational wounds, and the lasting impact of growing up with emotionally immature or emotionally unavailable caregivers.
You might find yourself feeling responsible for everyone else, struggling with boundaries, questioning your own needs, or noticing familiar patterns that are difficult to shift, even when you understand where they come from.
A collaborative, brain-body approach
Â
My approach draws from several complementary frameworks and is always guided by your individual needs, experiences, and pace.
Â
Brainspotting
Brainspotting is a brain-body approach that uses eye position, focused attention, and the therapeutic relationship to support deeper processing of trauma, emotional experiences, and patterns that may feel difficult to shift.
There's no need to find the words or make sense of everything as it happens. We follow what's emerging, with curiosity and care.
Â
Parts-InformedÂ
We all have different parts of ourselves. Parts that protect, strive, worry, criticize, care for others, or carry experiences we haven't fully processed.
Rather than trying to get rid of these parts; we can explore how they've come to serve us, what they might need in order to develop a more compassionate relationship with ourselves.
This work is especially meaningful when navigating perfectionism, people-pleasing, inner criticism, and the impact of early relationships.
Â
Psychedelic Integration
Sometimes experiences in non-ordinary states of consciousness bring forward emotions, memories, insights, or questions that take time to understand.
Psychedelic integration offers space to explore these experiences, connect them to your everyday life, and make meaning of what emerged without rushing to interpret or change anything.
Whether an experience felt profound, confusing, challenging, or somewhere in between, integration is about making room for what continues to unfold.
Â
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)
KAP brings together psychotherapy and the intentional use of ketamine as a potential support for therapeutic exploration and processing.
The process includes preparation, supported medicine sessions, and integration; with medical eligibility and prescribing overseen by an appropriate medical provider.
KAP is one option within my practice, not a requirement for doing meaningful therapeutic work together.

Finding a place to begin
You don't have to know which approach is right for you before reaching out.
Our work is collaborative, grounded in curiosity, and responsive to what's happening for you at the time of our session.
Sometimes that means talking.
Sometimes it means slowing down, noticing sensations, or exploring an experience that hasn't quite found its words yet.
Individual psychotherapy is offered through Integrative Journey Modern Psychotherapy Co., with in-person sessions in Matawan, NJ, and telehealth in NJ, CA, FL, MD, VA, CO
